my works are a hymn to colour,
to the light, to life;
but also an indictment:
have we been given a paradise
and turn it into hell ourselves?
I don’t tell a story in my works –
they are visual messages that address the psyche non-verbally.
soaked papers replace the canvases
and are kneaded and painted in processes that are
often repeated –
I repeat and repeat –
haptic colour spaces absorb the shadows –
I play on an instrument, the instrument of my colours –
everything has changed, everything is transformed –
yes, I am concerned with change, with transformation.
