wasted lives
a photo series wasted lives was taken on the island of lesbos at the beginning of december. the humanitarian tragedy in the kara tepe II refugee camp on the greek island is difficult to describe. it is obviously a cultural disgrace for europe that people with harrowing fates are held in an emergency camp that does not meet the standard of the european refugee convention.
